Christine's legal practice has included general civil litigation, including insurance defense, insurance coverage, and bad faith. She helped develop a federal civil rights class action against the California Department of Education and a local school district for violation of state and federal special education laws. While in law school, Christine interned at the Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Housing Section, Washington, D.C., where she worked on housing discrimination cases.
