John is an associate at Yoka & Smith, LLP. Originally from Orlando, Florida, John has lived in Canada, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology at the University of British Columbia and obtained his JD from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law.
While attending law school, John was selected to take part in the competitive Davis’ Corporate Securities Moot in Toronto, ON Canada. The only corporate law moot in Canada where he was an oralist.
After graduating with his JD at the start of COVID, John decided to return to the United States, where he pursued a LLM at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
Outside of the office he enjoys staying active by cycling and doing resistance training. Moreover, he is an avid traveler and has a keen interest in cars; being an active member in the Los Angeles automotive community.
